About the Event: For Groups

General Info

  • Groups to arrive between 09:00-09:30 on 13.07.2025
  • Activities will run 09:30-12:15, and 13:15-16:15.
  • Refreshments (squash, tea, coffee, biscuits) provided - but everyone needs to bring a packed lunch.
  • All participants should bring a backpack (or similar) to take home any crafts they have made during the day

Prices

  • Participant Fee: £18.50
  • Leader Fee: £0.00

Creating Your Booking

  • To start your booking, fill out the first place of the booking system, this creates a Group Booking
  • You then build up your booking by adding the names of the beaver scouts and the leaders who will be attending (fees will be calculated as you do this)
  • You do not need to add all participants at once - you can keep adding more Beavers to your booking so long as there are spaces at the event (your fees will be re-calculated and the payment schedule updated to show how much you own and by when).
  • Payments are due within 21 days of creating the participant places.
  • All payments must be in by 1st June.
  • Young Leaders coming to support your group should be added as leaders to your nominal role - there is no charge for them.
  • All the usual rules regarding ratios apply. It's the colony's responsibility to ensure that they have sufficient leaders for your group (including any additional adults you may need to cover additional requirements of your young people).
  • It's also fine to bring parent helpers to support your group if you need - if they have a good time, they might decide they want to sign up as leaders afterwards 😀. Again, all the usual rules apply for an event of this type.
